Combo卡是什么？

交I-485后，可以申请一份EAD（工作许可）和一份Advance Parole (AP)，俗称“回美证“。USCIS后来把这两都做到一张卡片上，叫做Combo card。

怎样renew combo卡？

combo卡一般有效期是一年，由于排期越来越长，一年不够用了，于是就需要renew。renew combo card 需要的材料 check list：

填写好的I-765（申请EAD）
填写好的I-131（申请AP）
EAD copy
4张照片（EAD和AP各需要2张）
485 receipt (aka. I-797C)
EAD一起寄来的有条形码的纸（上面写着会加速extension，应该不是必要）
填好的G-1145表，电子receipt

材料寄去哪里？

根据USCIS网站，基于Employment based form I-485的I-765申请应该寄去Phoenix或Dallas的收件箱，取决于居住地所在州。比如住在加州就应该寄去Pheonix。具体可在这里查询。

以下解释这个check list怎么来的，没耐心的以下都可以跳过。以上操作经实验是可行的，下面是法理依据。

根据I-765（12/26/19 版本）第20页的说明, Required Documentation部分

The appropriate filing fee, if applicable. See the What Is the Filing Fee section of these Instructions for details.

1. Your properly signed application.
   也就是填好I-765表
2. You must submit the following documents.
   A. A copy of at least one of the following documents: Form I-94, Arrival-Departure Record (front and back), a
   printout of your electronic Form I-94 from www.cbp.gov/i94, passport, or other travel document. If you are filing
   Form I-765 under the (c)(9) category, copies of any of the above are not required.
   基于I-485的EAD也就(c)(9)不需要I-94
   B. A copy of your last EAD (front and back). If you were not previously issued an EAD, you must submit a copy of a government-issued identity document (such as a passport) showing your picture, name, and date of birth; a birth certificate with photo ID; a visa issued by a foreign consulate; or a national ID document with photo and/or fingerprint. The identity document photocopy must clearly show your facial features and contain your biographical information.
   NOTE: If you are filing under the (c)(33) category, you are not required to submit additional documentation beyond what you submit with Form I-821D under 2. What documents do you need to provide to prove identity
   in the Evidence for Initial Requests Only section of the Form I-821D Instructions.
   Renew EAD的话需要最近一份EAD卡的正反copy
   C. Photographs
   You must submit two identical color passport-style photographs of yourself taken recently. The photos must have a white to off-white background, be printed on thin paper with a glossy finish, and be unmounted and unretouched. The two identical passport-style photos must be 2 by 2 inches. The photos must be in color with a full face, frontal view, on a white to off-white background. Head height should measure 1 to 1 3/8 inches from the top of your hair to the bottom of your chin, and eye height is between 1 1/8 to 1 3/8 inches from the top of your eyes to the bottom of photo. Your head must be bare unless you are wearing headwear as required by a religious denomination of which you are a member. Using a pencil or felt pen, lightly print your name and A-Number (if any) on the back of the photo.
   两张符合美国护照规格的照片，去Costo, CVS, Fedex之类的地方照就行

根据I-313（04/24/19版本）说明第8页最下面：

需要official ID，EAD copy可以满足。和I-765要求重合。

需要处于AOS(Adjustment of Status)的证据，485 receipt(aka. I-797C)可以满是要求，这点也和I-765要求重合。

人在美国申请AP，需要2张照片

费用如何？

简单来说，免费。

根据I-765（12/26/19 版本）说明 第24页：

基于I-485的EAD属于(c)(9)类型，renew不需要费用。因为renew EAD的I-765肯定不是和I-485一起交的，I-485已经交了，所以需要a copy of your Form I-797C Notice for Form I-485，也就是485的receipt。

根据I-313（04/24/19版本）说明第13页最上面：

如果485在pending中，申请AP不要钱。也是需要485 receipt(I-797C)，和上面I-765要求一样。

提前多久可以办理renew combo卡?

根据USCIS官网, 在现在combo card过期前180天可以开始办理.

2020年7月10号状态更新为“批准“
（据公开消息，比如这篇文章，给USCIS制作EAD和绿卡的外包商合同到期，而USCIS目前人手不够，所以制卡会延迟，申请要趁早）
2020年7月27号状态更新为“卡寄出“
2020年7月29号收到卡，有效期为2年
